Recently I have been sluggish with my blogging, I'll be the first to admit it, luckily last week a fellow blogger has issued me a style challenge and I have graciously accepted. Being a bride-to-be, I am always looking for new dress websites to browse for that perfect dress, not only for myself but also for my bridesmaids, so when I was asked by Weddington Way to do their style challenge I thought, perfect, I can look for bridesmaids dress ideas AND come up with some great looks using the dress I like the most!
How many people do you know that have a story about a horrible bridesmaid dress, on that they had to spend a fortune on and will never wear again? I can honestly say that I am not one of those people because I've only been a bridesmaid once and the dress is nice and I can totally re-wear but I have heard enough stories from other people to know that it's a problem. This website has a great selection of beautiful dresses that you may not even recognize a a typical "bridesmaid" dress but really all you need is for three of your closest friends to be wearing the same thing and you have yourself a bridal party. I have taken my favourite dress (the D494 by Alfred Sung, $129) in the color Paradise (this dress comes in 34 colors!) and styled it for the wedding day, then I have taken the same dress and styled it for a weekend night out. A bridesmaid dress should be reusable not disposable, you want to get your monies worth and get some go wear out of it so choose wisely (brides this is for you!)
